The National Banking and Securities Commission modifies the Fifth Base of the authorization for Banco Bancrea, S.A., to reflect a paid-in social capital of $1,280,000,000.00 Mexican pesos, following a capital increase approved in March 2020. The institution is required to publish the official letter in the Official Gazette of the Federation and two widely circulated newspapers within fifteen business days of receiving the letter, and to report the publication dates to the Commission within fifteen business days after those publications occur.

Through official letter 312-2/0088/2020 dated March 4, 2020, this Commission approved the reform to the seventh clause of the bylaws of that entity, due to the increase in its social capital from $1,180,000,000.00 to $1,280,000,000.00.
With a written submission presented on June 8, 2020, and complementary documentation presented on February 17, 2021, through the email address VPSupervisionGIFA@cnbv.gob.mx and in compliance with the requirement contained in the official letter referred to in the preceding paragraph, they send to this Commission a certified copy of public deed 28,380 dated March 20, 2020, granted before the notary public Lic. César Alberto Villanueva García, public notary number 23 of Monterrey, Nuevo León, and registered in the Public Registry of Property and Commerce of that same city on May 28, 2020, in which the aforementioned statutory modification was formalized.
For the above reason and based on Article 8, last paragraph, of the Credit Institutions Law, this Commission deems it appropriate to modify the Fifth Base of the "Authorization for the organization and operation of a multiple banking institution to be named Bancrea, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution," now Banco Bancrea, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution, contained in official letter P050/2013 dated June 18, 2013, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on July 15 of the same year, last modified by official letter 312-3/70027/2019 dated March 28, 2019, and published in the aforementioned Gazette on May 3, 2019, to read as follows:
"...
FIFTH. - The amount of its paid-in social capital shall be $1,280,000,000.00 (one billion two hundred eighty million pesos 00/100) M.N.
..."
Likewise, based on Articles 8, last paragraph, and 97 of the Credit Institutions Law and Article 19 of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law, that entity is required to inform this authority of the dates of the publications made in the Official Gazette of the Federation and in two widely circulated newspapers of its social domicile, of this official letter of modification, within a period of fifteen business days counted from the date of the aforementioned publications, which must be processed within fifteen business days following the date of receipt of this official letter.
This official letter is issued based on Articles 16, penultimate paragraph, of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law; 12, 17, fraction X, 19, fractions I, subsection c), II and III, last paragraph, and 40, fractions I and IV, of the Internal Regulations of the National Banking and Securities Commission.
