Official Letter Modifying the Authorization for La Peninsular Seguros, S.A., Multivalores Grupo Financiero Due to Name Change to Seguros Multiva, S.A., Grupo Financiero Multiva

OFFICIAL LETTER through which the preamble, as well as articles one and three, base I, of the authorization granted to La Peninsular Seguros, S.A., Multivalores Grupo Financiero, derived from the change of its name to Seguros Multiva, S.A., Grupo Financiero M, is modified.

At the margin, a seal with the National Coat of Arms, which reads: United Mexican States.- Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.- Undersecretariat of Finance and Public Credit.- Unit of Insurance, Pensions and Social Security.- 366-173/08.- 731.1/33079.

AUTHORIZATION TO INSURANCE INSTITUTIONS.- The authorization granted to that institution is modified due to the change of its corporate name.

LA PENINSULAR SEGUROS, S.A. DE C.V., MULTIVALORES GRUPO FINANCIERO (now SEGUROS MULTIVA, S.A. GRUPO FINANCIERO MULTIVA, by virtue of the authorization granted to them).

In view of the fact that through official letter 366-II-1377/08 of this same date, approval was granted for the reform agreed upon in article one of their bylaws, in order to change their current name from La Peninsular Seguros, S.A., Multivalores Grupo Financiero, to Seguros Multiva, S.A., Grupo Financiero Multiva, which is contained in the testimony of deed No. 25,840 executed on August 6, 2008, before the notary public Lic. Arturo Talavera Autrique, Public Notary No. 122, with practice in the Federal District, this Ministry, based on articles 31, fractions VIII and XXV of the Organic Law of the Federal Public Administration, 5th of the General Law of Insurance and Mutual Societies, and 32, fraction VIII of the Internal Regulations of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, has resolved to issue the following:

AGREEMENT:

The PREAMBLE, as well as articles ONE and THREE, base I of the authorization granted through official letter 366-IV-4100 of December 11, 1995, modified with the various 366-IV-5260 of October 4, 1996, 366-IV-4360 and 366-IV-6014 of July 10 and October 6, 1997, respectively, 366-IV-159 of May 11, 1999, 366-IV-1755 of April 3, 2002, 366-IV-2653/06 of November 29, 2006 and 366-079/08 of April 23, 2008, to La Peninsular Seguros, S.A., Multivalores Grupo Financiero, to function as an insurance institution, in order to carry out in insurance the operations of life, accidents and illnesses, in the branches of personal accidents and medical expenses, damages, in the branches of civil liability and professional risks, maritime and transport, fire, automobiles, credit exclusively in reinsurance, diverse, as well as earthquake and other catastrophic risks, to remain in the following form:

"AUTHORIZATION GRANTED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND PUBLIC CREDIT, TO SEGUROS MULTIVA, S.A., GRUPO FINANCIERO MULTIVA, TO FUNCTION AS AN INSURANCE INSTITUTION, UNDER THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

ARTICLE ONE.- In exercise of the power conferred by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, under article 5 of the General Law of Insurance and Mutual Societies, Seguros Multiva, S.A., Grupo Financiero Multiva is authorized to function as an insurance institution.

ARTICLE THREE.-
