OFFICIAL LETTER modifying the terms of the authorization for the establishment in national territory of Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A., Representative Office in Mexico.

We refer to Letter No.: 312-1/94445/2023, dated November 7, 2023, whereby this Commission, based on the Eleventh, section VI of the Rules for representative offices of foreign financial entities (Rules), authorized Mr. Jorge Alberto Güémez Treviño to serve as the new Representative of Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A., Representative Office in Mexico (BLADEX Representative Office), starting from when the notification of the referred letter takes effect, in substitution of Mr. Alejandro Barrientos Serrano.

As a consequence of the above, this Commission, based on the Fourth, second paragraph of the Rules, resolves to modify Base One, section III, contained in Letter 312-3/33152/2010 dated September 21, 2010, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on October 8 of that same year, to read as follows:

" ... First.- ... I. ... II. ... III. Its representative shall be Mr. Jorge Alberto Güémez Treviño. ... "

Therefore, this Commission, based on the Fourth, second paragraph of the Rules and of articles 97 of the Credit Institutions Law and 19 of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law, requires BLADEX Representative Office, to inform this authority of the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation of this modification letter, within a period of ten business days following, counted from the day the referred publication takes place, which must be processed within the fifteen business days following the date of receipt of this letter.

Likewise, within the period referred to in the previous paragraph, BLADEX Representative Office must send to this authority evidence of the submission of the notice filed with the Bank of Mexico and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit regarding the modification contained in this letter, attaching a copy of the same.

This letter is issued based on articles 16, third-to-last paragraph of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law; 14, 20, section V, 21, sections I, subsection f), II, III and last paragraph, 44, sections I and IV and 64, first paragraph of the Internal Regulations of the National Banking and Securities Commission.
