On Additional Measures to Activate and Expand the Activities of Free Economic Zones
The President of Uzbekistan rebrands the Free Industrial-Economic Zone of Navoi and the Special Industrial Zones of Angren and Jizzakh as Free Economic Zones. Tax incentives are granted for periods of 3 to 10 years based on investment thresholds ranging from $300,000 to over $10 million. The decree mandates the establishment of a unified legal regime, the implementation of a one-window service principle, and the submission of legislative amendments and development programs to the Cabinet of Ministers.
