On Additional Organizational Measures to Create Favorable Conditions for the Development of the Tourist Potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The decree establishes a 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of Israel, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, and Japan, and introduces a simplified tourist visa process for 75 listed countries, requiring visa issuance within two working days without a tourism voucher. It mandates the launch of an electronic visa system by July 1, 2018, and restructures the National PR Center to promote tourism, funded by the non-budgetary Tourism Support Fund. The document grants tax and customs exemptions for thematic parks, hotels, and tourism-related imports until 2024, reduces the taxable base for entities investing in digital tourism services and public Wi-Fi, and authorizes a $200 million credit line for hotel infrastructure projects. It also approves a domestic tourism development program targeting students, workers, and vulnerable groups, and designates the Dunyo Bo'ylab TV channel as the main information partner for tourism promotion.
