Portfolio Transfer of BNP Paribas Cardif Levensverzekeringen N.V. to Cardif-Assurances Vie S.A.
The Dutch prudential supervisor authorized the transfer of rights and obligations from life insurance contracts in branch 21 from BNP Paribas Cardif Levensverzekeringen N.V. to Cardif-Assurances Vie S.A., effective December 31, 2021, as part of a merger between the entities. This publication renders the transfer enforceable against policyholders, insured persons, beneficiaries, and all third parties with an interest in the execution of the insurance contracts regarding risks or commitments located in Belgium, in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of April 4, 2014, concerning insurance.

The Dutch prudential supervisor authorized on November 23, 2021, the insurance company Cardif-Assurances Vie S.A. under Dutch law BNP Paribas Cardif Levensverzekeringen N.V. to transfer the rights and obligations arising from life insurance contracts in branch 21 to the insurance company under French law Cardif-Assurances Vie S.A. This transfer took effect on December 31, 2021, and Cardif-Assurances Vie S.A. intervened in the context of a merger between the aforementioned companies.
In accordance with Article 17 of the Law of April 4, 2014, concerning insurance, this publication renders this transfer, with regard to risks or commitments located in Belgium, enforceable against policyholders, insured persons, beneficiaries, and all third parties having an interest in the execution of the insurance contract.
