The HES was designed by the CBRT to analyze the expectations of households regarding inflation, the exchange rate, housing prices as well as investment tendencies more comprehensively. The survey is conducted in cooperation with TURKSTAT. The results of the survey will be released in a monthly frequency as of 10 a.m. on February 24, 2026 under “Statistics/Tendency Surveys/Household Expectations Survey” on the CBRT website. With the release of the HES, the “Household Expectations Survey” data will be used for the 12- month-ahead consumer inflation expectations of households as of January 2026 in Sectoral Inflation Expectations (SIE) to replace the “Consumer Tendency Survey” data. Therefore, the results of the SIE for February will be released on February 24, 2026. In addition, detailed information on this survey will be shared with the public via the blog post “New Approach to Measure Household Expectations: Household Expectations Survey” to be published in the CBRT Blog simultaneously with the release of the survey.
