This procedure establishes the requirements for electoral candidates to apply for certificates issued by the Central Bank of Haiti under the electoral decree of June 2, 2026, as amended. Applicants must submit a written request with specific personal details and a valid ID copy to the Governor's office, after which certificates are prepared within eight working days. The certificates, containing file numbers, beneficiary identity, certified information, and official authentication, must be collected in person or by a duly mandated representative at the BRH premises in Delmas, Haiti.
This procedure defines the terms and conditions regarding certificate applications to the Central Bank of Haiti (BRH) within the framework of the electoral decree of June 2, 2026, as amended by the decree of July 2, 2026. It aims to ensure transparent, rigorous, and secure processing of requests submitted to the institution.
Any electoral candidate wishing to obtain a certificate issued by the BRH in accordance with the provisions of Article 153 of the aforementioned decree is required to submit their application in accordance with the provisions of this procedure.
The application must be made in writing and addressed to the Governor of the Central Bank of Haiti, at the following address: 1, Mercier Laham Street, Delmas 60, Musseau, Delmas, Haiti.
It must include the following information: • Name and first name of the applicant; • Full address; • Civil status; • Specific purpose of the requested certificate; • Phone number(s); • Electronic address (email).
The application must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identification document (NINU, Passport).
After verification of the information provided, the certificate is prepared and made available within a maximum period of eight (8) working days from the date of receipt of the application.
The issued certificate notably includes: • The file number; • The beneficiary's identity; • The certified information; • The date of issuance; • The signature and official authentication elements of the BRH.
The certificate is handed over directly to the applicant or their duly mandated representative at the BRH premises, located at 1, Mercier Laham Street, Delmas 60, Musseau, Delmas, Haiti, upon presentation of a valid identification document. When the withdrawal is carried out by a representative, they must also produce the mandate authorizing them to act on behalf of the applicant.
