PSD Circular Letter No. 02: Regarding BACH (BACPS & BEFTN) schedule on 5, 6 and 7 April 2024 preceding Eid-ul-Fitr
The Department of Payment Systems establishes the operating schedule for the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and BEFTN for the weekly and government holidays on April 5, 6, and 7, 2024. For BACPS, High Value Clearing presentment and return cut-off times are set at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM respectively, while Regular Value Clearing cut-off times are 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM. BEFTN will operate three sessions according to its standard schedule. Additionally, banks are prohibited from presenting checks at bank branches located outside the specified area to ensure the smooth operation of the clearing system.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the determination of the BACH schedule on the weekly and government holidays of 5, 6, and 7 April 2024 preceding Eid-ul-Fitr.
In continuation of the DOS Circular Letter No. 08 dated 31 March 2024 of the Department of Offsite Supervision, the activities of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH and BEFTN) will be conducted according to the schedule described below on the weekly and government holidays of 5, 6, and 7 April 2024. However, in the interest of the smooth operation of the clearing system, checks will not be presented at any bank branch located outside the area mentioned in DOS Circular Letter No. 08 dated 31 March 2024 of the Department of Offsite Supervision (DOS).
a) BACPS High Value Clearing - Presentment Cut off Time - 10:30 AM, - Return Cut off Time - 12:00 PM Regular Value Clearing - Presentment Cut off Time - 11:00 AM, - Return Cut off Time - 1:30 PM
b) On the aforementioned days, the three sessions of BEFTN will remain open according to the previous schedule.
