PSD Circular Letter No. 03: Regarding RTGS Operation Schedule on 5, 6 and 7 April 2024 preceding Eid-ul-Fitr

The document establishes the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) transaction operating hours for all scheduled banks in Bangladesh on Friday, 5 April 2024, and Saturday-Sunday, 6-7 April 2024, during the weekly and public holidays preceding Eid-ul-Fitr. On Friday, customer transactions (Pacs.008) are permitted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while inter-bank fund transfers (Pacs.009) and returns (Pacs.004) run from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. For Saturday and Sunday, customer transactions operate from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with inter-bank transfers and returns extending until 1:15 PM.

Dear Sir,

Regarding the determination of the schedule for transactions in the RTGS system on the weekly and government holidays of 5, 6, and 7 April 2024 preceding Eid-ul-Fitr.

In follow-up to the DOS Circular Letter No.-08 dated 31 March 2024 of the Department of Offsite Supervision, the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system transactions will be conducted according to the following schedule on the weekly and government holidays of 5, 6, and 7 April 2024.

05 April, 2024, Friday: a) Customer Transactions (Pacs.008) - From 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM b) Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Pacs.009) and Returns (Pacs.004) - From 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM

06 and 07 April, 2024, Saturday and Sunday: a) Customer Transactions (Pacs.008) - From 9:30 AM to 01:00 PM b) Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Pacs.009) and Returns (Pacs.004) - From 9:30 AM to 01:15 PM
