Effective June 19, 2024, and until further notice, Bangladesh Bank mandates specific transaction schedules for the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) systems on all working days excluding weekends and government holidays. The circular updates cut-off times for BACH High Value and Regular Value Clearing, confirms BEFTN session hours, and defines operating windows for customer transactions, customs duty e-payments, and inter-bank fund transfers within RTGS. These operational adjustments apply to all scheduled banks and Bangladesh Samabay Bank Limited.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the determination of the transaction schedule for BACH and RTGS.
Following the DOS Circular Letter No. 17 dated June 9, 2024, it is informed that, effective from June 19, 2024, and until further notice, the operations of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) will be conducted on all working days except weekly holidays and government holidays, according to the schedule detailed below:
a) BACPS High Value Clearing - Presentment Cut off Time- 12:00 PM, - Return Cut off Time- 3:00 PM Regular Value Clearing - Presentment Cut off Time- 12:30 PM, - Return Cut off Time- 5:00 PM
b) On the aforementioned days, the three sessions of BEFTN will remain open according to the previous schedule.
a) Customer Transactions (Pacs.008) - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM b) Customs Duty E-Payment (Pacs.008 with TTC 41) - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM c) Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Pacs.009) and Return (Pacs.004) - 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM
