PSD Circular Letter No. 04: Regarding the opening of BACH (BACPS & BEFTN) on 27th & 28th June 2023 public holidays before the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha
The Department of Payment Systems directs all scheduled banks and Bangladesh Cooperative Bank Limited to operate the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) on June 27 and 28, 2023, which are public holidays preceding Eid-ul-Adha. BACPS operations will run from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on June 27 and from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on June 28, while BEFTN sessions will continue according to their usual schedule on those days. Banks are prohibited from accepting checks for branches located outside the designated clearing area during these holiday operations.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the opening of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) on 27th and 28th June 2023, which are public holidays before the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.
In accordance with Circular Letter No. 18 dated 21 June 2023 of the Department of Offsite Supervision (DOS), the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) (BACPS & BEFTN) will operate on 27th and 28th June 2023, which are public holidays, according to the schedule below. However, in the interest of smooth operation of the clearing system, no checks will be accepted for any bank branch located outside the area mentioned in Circular Letter No. 18 dated 21 June 2023 of the Department of Offsite Supervision (DOS).
a) BACH Schedule:
- 27th June: 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM
- 28th June: 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM
b) On the above dates, the two sessions of BEFTN will remain open according to the usual schedule.
