Dear Sir, Regarding the continuation of uninterrupted banking and payment service operations in the context of the situation arising from COVID-19. In continuation of the DOS Circular Letter No. - 32 dated 09 August 2021 by the Department of Offsite Supervision (DOS) and PSD Circular Letter No. - 10/2021 dated 29 July 2021 by this department, the operational timeframes for payment platforms are hereby determined as follows: (1) Transactions through National Payment Switch Bangladesh (NPSB): a) Interbank Electronic Fund Transfer (IEFT): - Morning Session: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM b) The two sessions of IBFT will remain open according to the previously scheduled timetable. (2) The schedule for transactions through Joint Cash Management System (JCMS) is determined from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. However, only customs duties, taxes, fees, charges, etc., and interbank transactions may be conducted until 5:00 PM. This timeframe shall remain in force until further instructions are issued.
