Regarding the issuance of a license to Digital Payments Ltd (Pathao Pay) as a Payment Service Provider (PSP).

Under the powers conferred by Section 7(A)(E) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972, the Bangladesh Bank has granted a license to "Digital Payments Ltd" to operate as a Payment Service Provider (PSP) under the brand name "Pathao Pay" within the country, subject to the conditions described in the department's letter PSD/ADCS&DSL(Pathao)/35/2023-907, in accordance with the "Bangladesh Payment and Settlement Systems Regulations-2014".
