PSD Circular No. 03: Reporting of Payment Systems Information through Rationalized Input Template

All scheduled banks in Bangladesh must submit monthly payment system-related data using the Rationalized Input Template (RIT) via the BB web portal starting in April 2015. The RIT data for any reporting month must be submitted by the 15th of the succeeding month. The template is available for download from the Bangladesh Bank website or can be collected from the Payment Systems Department.

Payment Systems Department Bangladesh Bank Head Office Dhaka PSD Circular No. 03/2015 Date: April 12, 2015 Managing Director/CEO All Scheduled Banks in Bangladesh Dear Sir, Reporting of Payment Systems related information through RIT You are aware that Bangladesh Bank has been working to establish a secure, efficient and faster payment system with the long term strategy to ensure a robust inclusive growth of economy. In this view, Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank has to collect and compile payment systems related data with a view to monitor different payment systems and also to use them for analytical purposes. 02. A Rationalized Input Template (RIT) has been prepared for the said purpose. A familiarization session on the issue has already been conducted with the related executives of all the banks. 03. You are requested to send monthly payment system related data in RIT regularly from April, 2015 through BB web portal. The RIT data for a reporting month must be submitted within 15th of the succeeding month. 04. It is to be mentioned that the said RIT format may be downloaded from Bangladesh Bank website or it can also be collected from the Payment Systems Department.
