The document instructs all scheduled banks in Bangladesh operating card-based payment services to maintain 24/7 ATM and POS networks and cash supply at ATM booths during the Eid festival. Banks are required to ensure ATM booth security, prevent merchants from charging extra fees, provide instant SMS alerts for all transactions, and implement Two-Factor Authentication for online card-not-present payments. Additionally, banks must proactively inform customers of any service interruptions, conduct awareness campaigns, provide 24/7 help line support, and ensure strict compliance with previously issued circulars.
