PSD Circular No. 06: Amendment of PSD Circular No. 04/2017
Bangladesh Bank amends PSD Circular No. 04/2017 to require all banks and financial institutions operating in Bangladesh to integrate their Clearing Houses (CH) by December 31, 2019. All inter-bank card transactions must be processed through the Clearing House. This directive takes immediate effect.

Dear Sir,
Subject: Amendment of PSD Circular No. 04/2017.
Reference is made to PSD Circular No. 04/2017 issued on 24 August 2017.
Section 2.2.1 of PSD Circular No. 04/2017 shall be replaced as follows:
"All banks and financial institutions operating in Bangladesh shall integrate their Clearing Houses (CH) with the Bangladesh Financial Network (BFN) by 31-12-2019, and all inter-bank card transactions conducted through the CH shall be processed/completed through the BFN."
Furthermore, other matters in PSD Circular No. 04/2017 shall remain unchanged.
This directive shall take immediate effect.
