Public Notice No. 1 of 2026 – Entities Not Regulated by The Securities Commission of The Bahamas

The Securities Commission of The Bahamas identifies twelve entities, including Benacea Markets Limited and Bitop Markets Limited, as unregistered and unlicensed to conduct securities or digital asset activities within The Bahamas. These entities are prohibited from operating without authorization, and their false claims of regulatory approval constitute criminal offences subject to prosecution. The public is advised to exercise extreme caution when engaging with these entities and to verify the legitimacy of any service provider through the Commission’s official registrant and licensee search tool.

SECURITIES COMMISSION OF THE BAHAMAS PUBLIC NOTICE No. 1 of 2026 8 January 2026 RE: ENTITIES NOT REGULATED BY THE SECURITIES COMMISSION OF THE BAHAMAS This NOTICE is issued by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (the Commission) pursuant to its authority under the Securities Industry Act 2024, the Investment Funds Act 2019, the Financial and Corporate Service Providers Act 2020 and the Digital Assets and Registered Exchanges Act 2024 (the Acts). It has come to the attention of the Commission that the entities listed below may be conducting activities (or purporting to conduct activities), in or from within The Bahamas, that are either registrable/licensable or illegal under one or more of the Acts. The Commission hereby advises the public that none of these entities or their agents/representatives are registered with/licensed by the Commission. Additionally, none of the listed entities have applied to be registered/licensed by the Commission. Each website also makes the false statement that the respective entity is authorized and/or regulated by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas. By their false claims, each entity, including its agents and representatives, commits an offence and isliable for criminal prosecution and/or regulatory sanctions under one or more of the Acts. WARNING Individuals currently (or desirous of) conducting business with these entities or their agents/representatives, should be aware that they are doing so with entities and/or their agents who are not authorized or regulated by the Commission. Members of the public should exercise extreme caution when considering to conduct securities and/or digital asset trading activities with the aforementioned entities or their agents/representatives.
