RBI to conduct Overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction under LAF on August 10, 2026
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to conduct a second Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction on Monday, August 10, 2026. This overnight auction will have a notified amount of ₹1,00,000 crore, with the window timing from 12:00 Noon to 12:30 PM and the date of reversal on August 11, 2026. The operational guidelines for this auction will remain consistent with those outlined in the RBI's Press Release 2019-2020/1947 dated February 13, 2020.
