Regulation to Amend Regulation 51-105 Respecting Issuers Quoted in the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets
The regulator amends the definition of 'OTC issuer' in Regulation 51-105 to replace references to the Canadian National Stock Exchange with the Canadian Securities Exchange and Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc. with Cboe Canada Inc. These textual updates align the regulatory framework with current market participants and exchange names. The regulation specifies that it comes into force on a designated date, with a specific provision for Saskatchewan regarding the filing date with the Registrar of Regulations.
