Resolution 046/2006

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia modifies the 2006 fee schedule for services by renaming item 12 from "Daily withdrawal of cash" to "Daily deposit and withdrawal of cash" in the Central Bank of Bolivia's vault. This amendment applies to fees for national currency (Bs 500 for the second and subsequent withdrawals) and foreign currency (Bs 1,000 plus 0.04% for net withdrawals by financial entities). The modification enters into force on June 14, 2006.

BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 046/2006

SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT – MODIFIES FEES FOR SERVICES OF THE BCB FOR THE 2006 MANAGEMENT PERIOD.

VIEWING: Law No. 1670 of October 31, 1995. The Statute of the BCB of October 21, 2005. Board Resolution No. 146/2005 of November 15, 2005, which approves the Fees for Services and the BCB Fine Table for the 2006 management period. The Report from the International Operations Management (GOI) No. 004/2006 of May 15, 2006. The Report from the Legal Affairs Management (SANO) No. 067/2006 of May 17, 2006.

CONSIDERING: That Article 11, numeral 45) of the BCB Statute, provides that the Board has the authority to set annually the Fee Table to be charged for the services it provides. That through Board Resolution No. 146/2005, the BCB approved the Fees for Services and the BCB Fine Table for the 2006 management period. That Report GOI No. 004/2006 recommends modifying the name of the fee for cash operations in the BCB vault. That according to the Report from the Legal Affairs Management SANO No. 067/2006, there is no legal impediment for the Board to approve the aforementioned modification.

THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA RESOLVES:

Article 1.- Approve the modification of the BCB Fee Table for Services corresponding to the 2006 management period, according to the following detail:

SAYS: 12. Daily withdrawal of cash from the BCB vault a) National currency For the second time and subsequent times Bs 500.- b) Foreign currency From the first time () Bs 1,000.- 0.04% () The percentage commission (%) is charged when the financial entity makes net withdrawals.

SHOULD SAY: “12. Daily deposit and withdrawal of cash from the BCB vault a) National currency For the second time and subsequent times Bs 500.- b) Foreign currency From the first time () Bs 1,000.- 0.04% () The percentage commission (%) is charged when the financial entity makes net withdrawals.”

Article 2.- The approved modification will enter into effect from June 14, 2006.

Article 3.- The Presidency and the General Management are entrusted with the execution and compliance of this Resolution.
