BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 060/97
SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS - RATIFIES DECISIONS ADOPTED IN THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC FOREIGN EXCHANGE SALES SESSIONS (BOLSIN) FOR THE PERIOD BETWEEN MARCH 1, 1996, AND JANUARY 27, 1997.
SEEING:
Supreme Decree No. 21060 of August 27, 1985, which creates the Exchange and Reserves Committee to administer the official public foreign exchange sales mechanism.
Report OP.C. No. 005/97 from the International Affairs Management dated January 23, 1997.
Report G-AL No. 002/97 from the Legal Affairs Management dated January 23, 1997.
CONSIDERING:
That the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia has reviewed the minutes corresponding to the foreign exchange sales sessions for the period between March 1, 1996, and January 27, 1997.
That the Bank's Board was unable to convene due to a lack of quorum between March and December 1996, which prevented the establishment of the rotation schedule for its members in the meetings of the Exchange and Reserves Committee.
That it is necessary to ratify the decisions adopted in said foreign exchange sales sessions, in compliance with the regulations governing the matter and the recommendation of the Legal Affairs Management.
Therefore,
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA
RESOLVES:

Article 1.- Ratify the decisions adopted in the daily sessions of the official public foreign exchange sales, for the period between March 1, 1996, and January 27, 1997.
Article 2.- The Presidency and General Management are charged with executing this Resolution.
