Resolution 102/98 Approving the 1999 Commission and Other Income Table

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the Commission and Other Income Table for the 1999 fiscal year, establishing fees designed to cover operational costs. This resolution takes effect on January 1, 1999, and simultaneously repeals Resolution No. 172/97 of December 16, 1997, which governed the previous year's fee structure.

BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 102/98 SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS – COMMISSION TABLE AND OTHER INCOMES – 1999 FISCAL YEAR.

HAVING VIEWED: Law 1670 of October 31, 1995. Board Resolution No. 172/97 of December 16, 1997, which approves the Table of Terms and Conditions for the Collection of Commissions and Other Incomes for the 1998 fiscal year. Report from the International Affairs Management Department SOI No. 027/98 of November 5, 1998.

Report from the Legal Affairs Unit UAJUR No. 855/98 of November 5, 1998.

CONSIDERING: That in accordance with Article 54, subsection n) of Law 1670, it is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to formulate policies regarding the internal management of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), supervising their execution.

That the rates charged by the Central Bank of Bolivia for the provision of banking and financial services are intended to cover their respective operational costs.

That it is necessary to periodically adjust the Table of Terms and Conditions for the Collection of Commissions and Other Incomes, in order to align the rates with the real conditions of the market.

THEREFORE

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA RESOLVES:

Article 1.- Approve the Commission and Other Income Table for the 1999 fiscal year, attached to this Resolution, which will enter into force as of January 1, 1999.

Article 2.- As of January 1, 1999, Board Resolution No. 172/97 of December 16, 1997, is hereby repealed.

Article 3.- The Presidency and the General Management are charged with executing this Resolution.
