Resolution 119/2007

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the inclusion of a new 1% fee for private sector fund transfers from abroad, excluding export operations processed through the Bank, into the 2007 Service Tariff Table. This modification becomes effective on October 1, 2007, and the Presidency and General Management are tasked with its execution and compliance.

BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 119/2007 SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT – APPROVES INCLUSION IN THE BCB SERVICE FEES FOR THE 2007 MANAGEMENT PERIOD.

VIEWED: Law No. 1670 of October 31, 1995. The BCB Statute of October 21, 2005.

Board Resolution No. 096/2006 of November 7, 2006, which approves the Service Fees and Fine Table of the Central Bank of Bolivia for the 2007 management period. The Report of the International Operations Management GOI No. 010/2007 of September 5, 2007. The Report of the Legal Affairs Management SANO No. 212/2007 of September 7, 2007.

CONSIDERING: That Article 11, numeral 45) of the BCB Statute, provides that the Board has the authority to set annually the Fee Table to be charged for the services it provides. That through Board Resolution No. 096/2006 the BCB Board approved the Service Fee Tables and Fines of the BCB, for the 2007 management period. That the Report of the International Operations Management GOI No. 010/2007, recommends including a fee in said Table for fund transfers from abroad for the private sector. That according to the Report of the Legal Affairs Management SANO No. 212/2007, there is no legal impediment for the Board to approve the aforementioned modification.

THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA, RESOLVES:

Article 1.- Approve the inclusion in the BCB Service Fee Table corresponding to the 2007 management period, the following fee:

Article 2.- The approved modification will enter into force from October 1, 2007.

Article 3.- The Presidency and General Management are charged with the execution and compliance of this Resolution.
