The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the Commission and Other Income Table for the 2002 fiscal year, establishing specific fees for international operations, financial services, publications, and the sale of gold and silver coins. This resolution sets effective rates for services such as fund transfers, letters of credit, and account maintenance, while repealing the previous commission tables approved by Resolutions 081/2000 and 082/2001. The new fee structure enters into force on January 2, 2002, applying to all financial entities and users of the Central Bank's services.
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS NO. 126/2001 SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT – APPROVES COMMISSION TABLE AND OTHER INCOMES FOR THE 2002 MANAGEMENT PERIOD.
VIEWING: Law 1670 of October 31, 1995. Board of Directors Resolution No. 081/2000 of November 14, 2000, which approves the Commission Table and Other Incomes for the 2001 management period. Board of Directors Resolution No. 082/2001 of August 14, 2001, which approves the prices for the sale of gold and silver coins and medals. Report from the International Operations Management (GOI) No. 020/2001 of November 29, 2001. Report from the Legal Affairs Management (SANO) No. 066/2001 of November 20, 2001.
CONSIDERING: That according to Article 54, subsection n) of Law 1670, it is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to formulate policies regarding the internal management of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), supervising their execution. That the commissions charged by the Central Bank of Bolivia for the provision of banking and financial services are intended to cover their respective operating costs. That it is necessary to periodically adjust the Commission Table and Other Incomes, in order to adapt it to current market conditions.
THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA RESOLVES:
Article 1.- Approve the Commission Table and Other Incomes for the 2002 management period, which forms part of this Resolution as an annex, which will enter into force starting January 2, 2002.
//2. R.D. Nº 126/2001 Article 2.- Starting January 2 of the following year, Board of Directors Resolutions No. 081/2000 and No. 082/2001 of November 14, 2000, and August 14, 2001, respectively, are hereby repealed.
Article 3.- The Presidency and the General Management are charged with the execution and compliance of this Resolution.
