The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the 2005 Fee and Other Income Table and the Fine Table, effective January 3, 2005. This resolution supersedes Resolution 134/2003 and establishes specific monetary charges for international operations, monetary operations, and legal services, as well as penalties for non-compliance such as insufficient funds, delayed information submission, and service suspensions. These regulations apply to financial entities and other users of Central Bank services.
BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 189/2004 SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT - APPROVES FEE AND OTHER INCOME TABLE AND FINE TABLE FOR THE 2005 MANAGEMENT PERIOD
VIEWING: Law No. 1670 of October 31, 1995. Board Resolution No. 134/2003 of November 18, 2003, which approves the Fee and Other Income Table and the Fine Table of the Central Bank of Bolivia for the 2004 management period. Report from the International Operations Management (GOI) No. 013/2004 of November 30, 2004. Report from the Legal Affairs Management (SANO) No. 327/2004 of December 3, 2004.
CONSIDERING: That according to Article 54, subsection n) of Law No. 1670, it is the responsibility of the Board to formulate policies regarding the internal management of the BCB, supervising their execution. That the commissions charged by the Central Bank of Bolivia for the provision of banking and financial services are intended to cover their respective operating costs. That it is necessary to periodically adjust the Fee and Other Income Table and the Fine Table of the Central Bank of Bolivia, in order to adapt them to current market conditions.
THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA RESOLVES:
Article 1.- Approve the Fee and Other Income Table and the Fine Table of the Central Bank of Bolivia for the 2005 management period, attached to this Resolution, which will enter into force starting January 3, 2005.
Article 2.- Starting January 3 of the following year, Board Resolution No. 134/2003 and all Provisions contrary to this Resolution are repealed.
Article 3.- The Presidency and General Management are charged with the execution and compliance of this Resolution.
