The National Banking and Securities Commission amends Articles 155 and 156 of the Resolution published on April 26, 2018, to adjust the composition of the Audit Committees for Infonacot, Fovissste, and development entities. Article 155 now requires these committees to consist of three to five members designated by the Board, with at least one independent professional serving as chair. Article 156 clarifies that board members serving on the Audit Committee may be replaced by any other board member, and that in the president's absence, committee members must designate a presiding officer for that session. These changes enter into force the day after publication in the Official Gazette.

RESOLUTION modifying the Resolution modifying the general provisions applicable to development agencies and development entities published on April 26, 2018

The National Banking and Securities Commission, based on the provisions of Article 125, last paragraph of the Credit Institutions Law; Article 33, first paragraph of the Law of the National Institute for Workers' Consumption Funds; Article 190, second paragraph of the Law of the Social Security and Services Institute for State Workers; as well as Article 4, fractions XXXVI, XXXVIII, and Article 16, fraction I of the Law of the National Banking and Securities Commission, and
CONSIDERING
That on April 26, 2018, the "Resolution modifying the general provisions applicable to development agencies and development entities" was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, with effect from August 1, 2018, and
That, taking into account the composition of the board of directors of the entities and development agencies, it is necessary to adjust the integration of the audit committees of said entities and agencies, has resolved to issue the following:
RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE GENERAL PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES AND DEVELOPMENT ENTITIES
PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE OF THE FEDERATION ON APRIL 26, 2018
SINGLE.- Articles 155, first paragraph, and 156, fifth and sixth paragraphs, of the "Resolution modifying the general provisions applicable to development agencies and development entities", published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on April 26, 2018, are REFORMED, to read as follows:
" Article 155.- The Audit Committee of Infonacot, Fovissste, and the Development Entities shall be composed of at least three and no more than five members, designated by the Board, of which at least one must be an Independent professional and shall preside.

The principal or alternate councilors who are members of the Audit Committee may be replaced by any other councilor.
In the event of the president's absence at any committee session, the members shall designate the person who must preside over that session.

TRANSITIONAL
SINGLE.- This Resolution shall enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
