Resolution on Amendment to Paragraph 54 of the Regulation on Central Bank Requirements for Internal Audit of Commercial Banks

Comment LexUz: This resolution will cease to be in force as of 8 August 2021, in accordance with the Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 16 April 2021 No. 3/2 "On Approval of the Regulation on Requirements for Internal Audit of Commercial Banks" (Reg. No. 3302 dated 07.05.2021).

In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "On Banks and Banking Activity" and dated 15 January 2019 No. ZRU-516 "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with Improving Mechanisms for Combating Economic Crimes and Financing the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction", the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan resolves:

1. In paragraph ten of point 54 of the Regulation on Requirements of the Central Bank to Internal Audit of Commercial Banks, approved by Resolution No. 6/12 of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 13 March 2004 (Reg. No. 992-1 dated 20 April 2004) (Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2004, No. 16, Art. 192), replace the words "and financing of terrorism" with "financing of terrorism and financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction".

2. This resolution enters into force from the date of its official publication.
