Revision in Prudential Regulation G-2: Remuneration to Directors
Clause (c) of Prudential Regulation G-2 for Microfinance Banks is revised to cap director remuneration for attending board or committee meetings at Rs. 300,000 per meeting. This limit applies to all directors, including the Chairman. All other existing instructions regarding this subject remain unchanged.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Revision in Prudential Regulation G-2: Remuneration to Directors
Please refer to ACFID Circular No. 1 of 2025 dated May 16, 2025 whereby revised Prudential Regulations (PRs) for Microfinance Banks (MFBs) were issued.
In this regard, it has been decided to revise clause (c) of the Regulation G-2 of PRs for MFBs as under: "Remuneration of a director (including Chairman) for attending a board and/or its committee meeting(s) shall not exceed Rs. 300,000 per meeting"
All other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
