Sales Statistics of Foreign-Currency Denominated Products by Life Insurance Industry as of End of April 2026
The Financial Supervisory Commission, R.O.C. announced that premium revenues from new foreign-currency denominated policies in the life insurance industry totaled approximately NT$190.971 billion as of the end of April 2026. This figure represents a substantial 53% increase from the NT$124.945 billion recorded year-on-year. The breakdown shows investment-linked insurance products grew 82% to NT$35.038 billion (18% of total), while traditional insurance products rose 48% to NT$155.933 billion (82% of total).
