SD Circular Letter No. 01 : Relaxation of district in daily district-wise remittance reporting

Statistics Department Bangladesh Bank Head Office Dhaka. www.bb.org.bd Circular letter no:-DSRS(Policy)2406/2014-01 Date: 14/09/2014 All Authorized Dealers of Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh Dear Sir, Execution of decision Regarding Daily District-wise Remittance Reporting. The following decisions have been taken of the meeting of 5th August, 2014 regarding district wise remittance reporting in the presence of officials of Statistics Department, Foreign Exchange Policy Department, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Janata Bank Limited:

1. The amount of daily cover fund which is possible to detect relevant District that should be reported perfectly through RIT and the district which is not possible to detect that should be reported mentioning NOT SPECIFIED (which is newly included in REFFERENCE FILE and AD's are directed to collect REFFERENCE FILE ).
2. The first day of the week (Sunday) should be corrected those reportings which have been mentioned NOT SPECIFIED in the previous week.
3. The remittance reported as weekly to Foreign Exchange Policy Department and the remittance reported as Daily (Weekly basis) to Statistics Department must be equal. According to above decision it is advised to all AD Bank to submit daily district wise remittance reporting through RIT Input Template to Statistics Department.
