The Statistics Department mandates that scheduled banks submit SBS-1 reports by the 17th of the following month from December 2018 to May 2019, and by the 15th thereafter. For each quarter, provisional data for Gross Domestic Product at Basic Prices and Gross Domestic Product at Market Prices must be submitted provisionally within the monthly deadline and finally by the 25th. These deadlines also apply to the National Accounts Statistics (NAS) SBS-1 report.

Regarding the refixation of the time limit for submission of SBS-1 reports.
Reference is drawn to Statistics Department Circular No.-06/2014 dated 21 December, 2014 and subsequent letters DSMS-1(20)/2015-2124 dated 15 September, 2015.
According to the aforementioned letters, banks have been regularly submitting information on liabilities and assets of the relevant month through the SBS-1 report to this department by the 20th of the following month. The economic survey of Bangladesh is prepared based on the data/information collected through the SBS-1 report, which is used in the formulation of the country's monetary policy. In order to expedite the work of the economic survey, it is advised to duly comply with the following instructions for the timely and accurate submission of the said report to the Statistics Department.
