SUBJECT:SECOND EXERCISE OF CONTINUITY FOR ALTERNATIVE PROCESSING SITE WITH MEFP, ASOBAN AND PARTICIPATING ENTITIES FOR ENTITIES THAT NEED TO ESTABLISH ALTERNATIVE CONNECTION

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia, with the objective of improving the response level of its operations and maintaining the availability of its services in case of contingencies, has scheduled the second operational continuity exercise through its Alternative Processing Site.

The aforementioned exercise will begin at 20:00 on Thursday, December 6, 2018, and conclude at approximately 16:00 on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Because this exercise will include entities from the financial system (ASOBAN, Participating Entities) and public entities (MEFP, BCB), close coordination and verification by participants is vital. Therefore, I request that you instruct the relevant instances to establish the necessary communication links (VPN) to participate in this exercise.

To carry out these tasks and coordinate technical aspects, please contact the BCB public servant:

Sincerely,
