The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs all licensees and registrants to comply with updated United Nations Security Council sanctions against four individuals added to the Sudan sanctions list on 24 February 2026. Entities must report any positive matches to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General within 24 hours of this notice and provide confirmation of submission to the Commission. Failure to submit required reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, with potential disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day for non-compliance.
