Dear Sir,

Context regarding the provision of bicycles to school and college students and assistance to the Dalit community under CSR activities.

Reference is drawn to Circular Letter No. 07/2014, dated December 22, 2014, issued by the Green Banking and CSR Department.

It is advised that you provide at least ten bicycles to female students attending schools and colleges in developed and remote areas of the country, particularly in the northern regions, under your CSR activities, to promote their education and quality of life and to achieve the country's sustainable development goals. Furthermore, you are advised to adopt priority CSR activities for the improvement of the living standards of people from the Dalit community.

It is also directed that you report the expenditure related to this matter under the applicable sub-head of the 'Support to Underprivileged Castes' category in the format issued via Circular Letter No. 06 dated June 10, 2015.

These instructions shall be implemented immediately.
