Managing Directors / Chief Executives All Scheduled Banks and Financial Institutions operating in Bangladesh.
Dear Sir,
Context regarding the distribution of relief materials in flood-affected areas under Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
Recently, various districts including the northern regions of Bangladesh have been affected by floods, resulting in widespread damage to crops and livestock. On the other hand, helpless people in the said areas have become homeless. In this situation, you are requested to immediately provide necessary financial and relief materials [food, clothing, clean water, emergency medicine, clothing materials (up to 20 kg per person), etc.] to the helpless communities in the recently flood-affected areas under Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
It is also advised that expenses related to this be reported under the sub-head 'Disaster Management/Relief' of the 'Disaster Management/Relief' head in the format issued via Circular Letter No. 06 dated June 10, 2015.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
