Subject: Determination of targets for Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Finance (including Environmentally Friendly Finance).

Reference is drawn to your attention to SFD Circular No. 01/2021, dated: 11 January 2021.

Through the aforementioned circular, instructions were issued to determine the annual targets for Environmentally Friendly Finance and Sustainable Finance based on the net bank credit and advances position as of 31 December of the previous year (calculated as total bank credit and advances minus employee loans and total classified loans).

2. It has now been decided that the annual targets for Environmentally Friendly Finance and Sustainable Finance (including Environmentally Friendly Finance) shall be determined based on bank credit and advances from the previous year as of 31 December, after deducting employee loans, total classified loans, and credit card loans.

3. In addition, all other instructions contained in SFD Circular No. 01/2021 shall remain in force.

4. These instructions are issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, and Section 18(6) of the Financial Institutions Act, 1993, and shall take immediate effect.
