The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the quarterly contribution to the Savings Protection Fund from financial institutions' accounts on January 16, 2017. The amount is calculated as 1.25 per thousand of the average daily public liabilities from the previous quarter. Financial institutions are required to ensure sufficient funds are available in their current and reserve accounts for this deduction.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies financial entities that, in application of Article 518 of the Financial Services Law No. 393, it will debit the quarterly fee (contribution of Financial Entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or their Foreign Currency Reserve Account on January 16, 2017.
The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25 ‰) of the average daily public liabilities of the previous quarter; therefore, we kindly request that you make the respective provision of funds.
