SGDB N° 021/2014 - SIPAV Operations - Holiday in La Paz on July 16, 2014
The Central Bank of Bolivia suspends all activities on July 16, 2014, due to a departmental holiday in La Paz. For the rest of the country, only custody fund deposits in national currency are processed at Banco Unión S.A. offices, with entries recorded on July 17, 2014. This directive applies to all entities participating in the High-Value Payment System (SIPAV).

FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL ENTITIES MANAGEMENT TO: PARTICIPATING ENTITIES OF THE HIGH-VALUE PAYMENT SYSTEM (SIPAV) SUBJECT: SIPAV OPERATIONS – HOLIDAY IN LA PAZ ON 07/16/14
Ladies and Gentlemen:
In accordance with Communication No. 10/2014 from the Ministry of Labor, July 16, 2014, is a departmental holiday with the suspension of public and private labor activities throughout the Department of La Paz. Consequently, the Central Bank of Bolivia will suspend activities on the aforementioned date.
In the rest of the departments, on the aforementioned date, only deposits for custody funds in national currency will be processed at the offices of our correspondent, Banco Unión S.A., in accordance with the procedures defined by that entity. The recording of these operations in the BCB systems will be accounted for on Thursday, July 17, 2014.
