SGDB N° 025/2015 - Deadline for Incorporation into the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP)
The Central Bank of Bolivia extends the mandatory deadline for authorized savings and credit cooperatives to complete their incorporation into the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) to June 15, 2015. This extension applies to entities that were unable to finish the technical verification process previously. Failure to comply by this new date will result in sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
In compliance with Article 14 of the Regulations of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) approved by R.D. N° 061/2014 of 10.06.14 and once the tasks of verifying compliance with technical requirements have been concluded, we communicate that the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), in view that some entities were unable to conclude the incorporation process as participants of the LIP, has determined to extend the deadline for the conclusion of this process until June 15, 2015, without fail; upon completion of this deadline, sanctions will be applied in accordance with the regulations.
