SGDB N° 034/2012: Regulation for the Transfer of International Remittances
The Central Bank of Bolivia transmits Board Resolution No. 071/2012, which approves the Regulation for the Transfer of International Remittances (TRI). This regulation governs TRI operations entering or leaving Bolivian territory and applies to Financial Intermediation Entities and Payment Service Provider Enterprises holding valid licenses from the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI).

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia submits for your knowledge Board Resolution No. 071/2012 of July 19, 2012, by which the Regulation for the Transfer of International Remittances (TRI) is approved. This regulation aims to regulate TRI operations that enter or leave Bolivian territory and is applicable to Financial Intermediation Entities that hold authorization and a license to operate from the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI) and to Payment Service Provider Enterprises with a license to operate granted by said Authority.
