SGDB N° 034/2014

The Central Bank of Bolivia mandates that financial entities update their VPN network configurations to use specific primary and contingency IP addresses and domains effective immediately. The internal domain for financial entities is changed from "bcb.net" to "bcb.gob.bo", with the old domain remaining valid until September 5, 2014. Entities must also update their DNS forwarding settings to the specified IP addresses for ASOBAN, financial and government entities, and Internet links.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) announces that, in order to improve the availability of links and communication media, effective immediately, the network configuration for VPNs between the BCB and financial entities must be set up with the following addresses:
