The Central Bank of Bolivia suspends the High-Value Payment System (SIPAV) on Monday, July 16, 2012, due to a departmental holiday in La Paz. Custodial fund operations in the rest of the country remain active through the Banco Union correspondent office. Processing for these custodial fund operations is scheduled for Tuesday, July 17, 2012, between 12:00:01 and 15:00:00 for withdrawal provisions (Type F02). All other SIPAV operations maintain their normal schedules as defined in the SIPAV Operational and IT Guide.

FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL ENTITIES MANAGEMENT TO: FINANCIAL ENTITIES PARTICIPATING IN THE HIGH-VALUE PAYMENT SYSTEM (SIPAV) SUBJECT: SIPAV OPERATIONS – HOLIDAY IN LA PAZ ON 16.07.2012

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia informs that the High-Value Payment System (SIPAV) will not be operational on Monday, July 16, 2012, due to the departmental holiday in the city of La Paz. However, operations corresponding to custodial funds in the rest of the country may be processed normally at the correspondent office (Banco Union) in accordance with the procedures defined by this entity.

In order to record these operations in the BCB systems, the following processing schedule has been defined for custodial fund operations on Tuesday, July 17, 2012:
