Financial entities must submit the 'TP' file containing monthly average balances for savings accounts with national currency balances up to Bs 70,000 to the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI) via the Periodic Information Capture System. The August 2014 report is due by September 19, 2014, while subsequent months must adhere to the deadlines established in Book 5 of the Compilation of Norms for Banks and Financial Entities. The file must be generated using the 'PMA' rate type, capturing the last day of the month, account numbers, and average daily balances, and sent as a .zip file named 'tpammdd.zip'.
B.C.B. 1 DGD-VUC STP -2 PM 2: 27 11r 1 EXTERNAL CIRCULAR OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA La Paz, September 4, 2014 SGDB No. 039/2014 FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT OF FINANCIAL ENTITIES TO: FINANCIAL ENTITIES SUBJECT: SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION ON SAVINGS ACCOUNTS — APPLICATION OF SUPREME DECREE NO. 2055
Ladies and Gentlemen:
In the framework of Supreme Decree No. 2055, which regulates passive rates for savings accounts, it is communicated that all financial entities must send the "Current Passive Rates" "TP" file to the Central Bank of Bolivia, generated through the Operations Capture System: Interest Rates and Exchange Rates.
This file contains information on the monthly averages of daily balances up to Bs 70,000 of all savings accounts of their clients (natural persons) in national currency, regardless of the number of savings accounts each client holds.
The file is generated under the following characteristics:
Rate type "PMA", which will identify accounts that meet the conditions established in the preceding paragraph. The date field will capture the last day of the month, for example 31/08/2014. The operation number will record the account number. The "credit" field will record the monthly average of daily balances registered in the account during the month.
In the folder c:\tasas\envío, the folder "Tp" must be created, which will receive the generated files with the following structure "tpammdd.sigla" and "tpammdd.zip". The file "tpammdd.zip" will be sent.
Due to the quantity of records to be sent, the mechanism for issuing the "Tp" file, only for this report, will be generated with the button "Save to database / Generate monthly average file". Therefore, once loaded, the sending file will be generated in the folder c:\tasas\envío\tp, which must be sent to the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI) through the Periodic Information Capture System.
The report must include all accounts that meet the condition noted above.
The submission of the information for August 2014 must be carried out by September 19 for this one-time occurrence. For subsequent months, you must comply with the deadline established by ASFI, according to Article 2, Section 4, Chapter III, Title II, Book 5 of the Compilation of Norms for Banks and Financial Entities.
