FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL ENTITIES MANAGEMENT TO: FINANCIAL ENTITIES SUBJECT: ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS, CHECKS, AND AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINES INFORMATION CAPTURE SYSTEM

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia informs financial entities that it has developed the Electronic Transactions, Checks, and Automatic Teller Machines Information Capture System (CIEC), in which the aforementioned information must be registered on a daily basis.

This capture system and its User Guide are available on the intranet of the Financial System Supervision Authority – ASFI as of today, and financial institutions must submit the requested information starting October 1, 2015, in the formats established in the Guide. Historical daily information comprising the period from January 1, 2013, to September 30, 2015, must be sent in the same formats by November 30 of the current year.

In order to assist in the implementation of the CIEC so that financial entities develop the upload file, conduct respective tests, adapt their systems to generate the information, and perform the corresponding queries, the Central Bank of Bolivia will hold presentations of the aforementioned system. For this purpose, lists of accredited officials from each financial entity (first names, last names, position, telephone, mobile phone, and email address) must be submitted by July 31, 2015, to the following email addresses: pmendez@bcb.gob.bo and mllanos@bcb.gob.bo.

The BCB will communicate the date and time of the presentations with due advance notice.
