The Central Bank of Bolivia suspends electronic transfer processing within the LIP system on January 2, 2017, due to the national holiday being observed on that date. This suspension applies to all participants in the LIP system, including financial entities and public or private entities. No transfers can be processed on this specific day across the territory of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs the participants in the LIP System that, in compliance with Communication 61/2016 of the General Directorate of Labor, Hygiene and Occupational Safety, which states that Sunday, January 01, 2017, is a national holiday, and that this holiday is transferred to Monday, January 02, 2017, declaring a suspension of public and private activities throughout the territory of the Plurinational State of Bolivia; therefore, electronic transfers cannot be processed through this system on January 02, 2017.
