SGDB N°057/2015: Brokerage Agency Operations in the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP)
The Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes brokerage agencies to conduct direct settlement operations within the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) and EDV. The circular defines specific operational codes (E73 through E78) for debtor and creditor payments, as well as various transfers involving brokerage agencies and financial system beneficiaries, along with their respective processing hours. Participants must submit a formal request to add these operations to their valid digital certificates to initiate the process.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs participants in the LIP System that Brokerage Agencies are successfully completing the incorporation process into the aforementioned system. Consequently, in order for participants to begin their settlement operations directly within the EDV operational framework, the following operations have been enabled in the LIP:

In order to initiate the application of the described process, participants must submit their express request to add operations to their valid digital certificates to the Financial Entities Management of the BCB.
