The Central Bank of Bolivia increases the maximum limit for operations with electronic payment instruments associated with payment accounts (mobile wallets) from one and a half national minimum wages to two and a half national minimum wages. This change applies to financial intermediation entities and payment service provider companies. The amendment becomes effective immediately upon the issuance of the circular.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
In accordance with Article 9 of the Regulation on Electronic Payment Instruments, the limit amount per operation with electronic payment instruments associated with payment accounts (mobile wallet) has been reviewed and it has been determined to increase it from one and a half national minimum wages to two and a half national minimum wages.
This provision enters into force from the moment of issuance of this Circular.
