SGDB No. 050/2016 - Modification to External Circular SGDB No. 056/2014 Regarding Receipt of Operations in Cashier Offices of the Treasury Management of the BCB

The Central Bank of Bolivia establishes specific cutoff times for the receipt of various financial operations at its Treasury Management cashier offices, including 13:00 for the receipt of third-party checks and 16:00 for payments and cash deposits for legal reserves. The document repeals paragraph 5 of External Circular SGDB No. 056/2014, while maintaining the validity of its remaining provisions. These new schedules apply to financial system entities, public sector entities, and the general public, taking effect upon publication.

EXTERNAL CIRCULAR La Paz, December 19, 2016 SGDB No. 050/2016 FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT TO: ENTITIES OF THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM PUBLIC SECTOR ENTITIES PUBLIC IN GENERAL SUBJECT: RECEIPT OF OPERATIONS IN CASHIER OFFICES OF THE TREASURY MANAGEMENT OF THE BCB — MODIFICATION TO EXTERNAL CIRCULAR SGDB No. 056/2014

Ladies and Gentlemen:

In the framework of the Regulation on the Administration of Monetary Material approved with R.D. No. 020/2016 dated February 2, 2016, and the Regulation for the Sale of United States Dollars through BCB counters approved with R.D. No. 051/2016, requests for cash and/or check operations shall be delivered directly to the Cashier Offices of the Treasury Management of the Central Bank of Bolivia, for which they must comply with the following schedules:

By means of this, paragraph 5 of the External Circular of the Central Bank of Bolivia SGDB No. 056/2014 dated December 31, 2014, is hereby repealed, leaving the remaining provisions of the aforementioned Circular in force. This Circular takes effect from the date of its publication.
