Regarding inclusion of day care centre under SME sector.

Dear Sir,

Currently, private day care centres are being established in both urban and rural areas to ensure and facilitate the participation of women, who represent nearly half of the country's population, in economic activities. Through investment in these day care centres, it is possible to expand credit to SME enterprises and accelerate entrepreneurship development. Consequently, considering the importance of the sector, day care centres have been included among the SME sectors.

The matter of providing refinancing facilities from the Bangladesh Bank's refinancing fund to SME entrepreneurs in the day care centre sector against loans granted will also be considered in accordance with regulations.
